Grand Master Taegyu Lim

Grand Master Lim is the founder of Taekwondo Korea Center. Along with his 50+ years of never-ceasing passion and experience in Taekwondo, he was the Korean national champion (1982-1991), the Taiwan National Olympic Team coach and an international referee (1991-1992), and the Korea's Best Taekwondo Instructor of the Year (2006-2007, 2009). Under his instruction, his Taekwondo Korea Center has been awarded the Korea's Best School of the Year Award (2003-2009), won first place at the Chicago Taekwondo Expo (2012), the Illinois Taekwondo State Championship (2012-2015), and the U.S. Open Hanmadang Championship. Beyond his past and future achievements and awards, Grand Master Lim prays that his teaching of Taekwondo will be used to lead and guide individuals to the righteous path of life, brightening families and the world.

Master Eunwoo James Lim

Master James has 20+ years of experience in Taekwondo, along with his 5th degree black belt. He was the Korean National Champion (2003-2009), USAT Illinois State Champion, and was awarded first place at the Chicago Taekwondo Expo and the U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship. Students note that Master James has the most scientific and technical teaching method and ability.

Master Junhyung John Lim

Throughout his 18 years of experience in Taekwondo, Master John has excelled in many different ways. On top of his 4th degree black belt, he was the Korean National Champion (2006-2009), and received first place at the U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship and at the USAT Illinois State Taekwondo Championship. He was one of the top 8 at the 2015 USA Taekwondo National Poomsae Team Trials. As the Master with the most experience in competitions, he enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students and inspires them to achieve excellence.

Master Tiera Hamilton

Master Tiera started as a white belt under Grand Master Lim in the early 2000s, and she has recently become a Master after obtaining her 4th degree black belt. She has competed and placed at many tournaments such as USAT Illinois State Taekwondo Championship and U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang Championship. She is an older sister figure to many students as her warm heart draws them to herself and helps them grow.
